To begin using the VCM Suite, follow these steps:

  1. Create an HP Tuners Account: If you don’t have an account, sign up at HP Tuners.
  2. Download and Install VCM Suite: Visit HP Tuners Downloads to get the latest version of the software. VCM Suite is a package containing both VCM Editor & VCM Scanner programs, users will also need .NET Desktop Runtime for Windows. You will see two versions, our Stable release and Beta release. While Beta versions have the latest support and features, it can have occasional errors. Therefore, we recommend the latest stable release for most users.
  3. Purchase an Interface Device: You’ll need an interface device like the MPVI3 to connect your computer to your vehicle.
  4. Register Your Device: Register your interface device on the HP Tuners website.
  5. License Your Vehicle: Purchase a license for each vehicle you plan to tune. Licenses are tied to the vehicle’s VIN and the serial number of the VCM.
